SCHOOL OF THOUGHT
Once upon a time, in the depths of the ocean, there lived two fish named Finn and Coral. Finn, a witty and clever clownfish, had a knack for science and loved experimenting with unique ingredients. Coral, an adventurous and free-spirited angelfish, possessed an incredible imagination and was passionate about protecting their home. The two met in their freshman year at the Neptune Institutes and became quick friends.
After graduation, the duo decided to explore the colorful coral reefs and grab a few algae at the local bar. They stumbled upon a distressing sight. They witnessed massive fishing nets plundering the underwater world, depleting their college town and disturbing the delicate balance of their ecosystem. Determined to take action, they decided to embark on a journey to create fish-like food alternatives for humans, made entirely from sustainable and plant-based ingredients. Their mission was clear: to halt unsustainable fishing and save the ocean.
So their journey began… They swam across vast underwater landscapes, seeking out exotic plants and rare ingredients to craft their fish-like creations. Along the way, they encountered mischievous jellyfish, curious seahorses, and even a grumpy old octopus, all of whom doubted their abilities. But Finn and Coral's determination never wavered and they kept on swimming forward.

Their first experiment involved blending seaweed, tofu, and a secret combination of spices. The result was a delightful, flaky texture that closely resembled fish. They thought to themselves, we love seaweed, it's freakin’ delicious and nutritious so humans must enjoy it too. They named their creation "Sassy Salmon" a vegan smoked salmon that is full of flavor and attitude. Sassy is decadent and loves to be the center of attention and is a great source of protein and fiber.
SASSY SALMON
BRAINSTORMING

As Finn and Coral continued their culinary adventure, they sought to elevate their creations even further. Inspired by the beauty of the ocean and propelled by the desire to offer a luxurious experience, the pair brainstormed ways to add a touch of fun and flavor to each of their plant-based seafood alternatives.
One day, while exploring a hidden underwater grotto, they discovered a remarkable herb known as dillweed. Its delicate aroma and distinct flavor instantly captivated their senses and reminded them of another weed they enjoyed back in the dorms of Neptune Institute. Finn and Coral knew they had found the perfect ingredient to enhance their vegan smoked salmon. They carefully infused the dill into their recipe, creating a new variety called "Grassy Salmon." Grassy Salmon quickly became a sensation among the oceanic community and beyond. Its smoky, herbaceous taste combined with the flaky texture of their previous creation, Sassy Salmon, made it a delightful treat for all palates.

IT'S DESTRUCTIVE
Industrial fishing practices destroy oceanic environments and disrupt marine animals’ diets.
IT'S WASTEFUL
Green Peace reports that around 640,000 tons of fishing gear litter our oceans annually, and discarded fishing nets make up 86 percent of the large plastics within the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
IT'S INTRUSIVE
Industrial caviar producers chemically induce labor and harvest roe from the same fish multiple times over their lifespans, repeatedly disrupting their natural hormonal balances and inflicting bodily trauma.
IT'S VIOLENT
Industrial fishing has led to the existential endangerment of multiple species of fish as well as other marine animals such as dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and sea birds.
Finn and Coral's innovative approach to plant-based seafood showcased the endless possibilities for sustainable and delicious alternatives. They are continuing working on recipes that will push humans to stop unsustainable fishing and save the ocean. Try seafood with the ocean in mind. Make them Happy.
